Big Blue! Yet more motivation to kick Argos butt! And this from a traitorous Winnipegger! The gerbil sent it by e-mail yesterday morning. For his sake, I won't give you his last name, lest you hunt him down and paint his jewels blue and gold. Assuming he has any. us.rd.yahoo.com
Miriam haskell silk cord and red bakelite bracelet
Frank Hess was the designer extraordinaire and surely was the force behind Miriam Haskell's early success. His designs, their composition, and color were and still are unparallel in the industry. And this silk woven WWII work of art is another rare example of his silk woven bracelets. The silk bracelet is beautifully woven and then each cord is sewn together to create a flat bracelet that holds two large cherry red marbleized bakelite balls as accent colors. The cord is formed into loops, which become the actual closure. The bright red bakelite 3/4" balls are connected by silk thread and dangle delightfully on your wrist. Simplicity at its best! The bracelet measures 7" long and 3/4" wide. It is in excellent vintage condition and guaranteed to be authentic Miriam Haskell. vintagejewelryonline.com
